● Let me show you to your room. Please follow me. 

● What's the name of this building?

● The name os this room is Yeonhwaroom.  It means Lotus Flower room.  You will stay in this room for four days and three nights.

● Not yet.

● Please unpack your bag and take a rest first. I'll come back for you in 30 minutes.

Applying for a Templestay

● How can I apply for the Templestay program?

● you should check out the TS website on the internet.  There you will find details. (temples that offer templestays and the schedule.)

● Can I apply online?

● Sure. There is a multiple language service on the website so that you can apply online. or you could call the office directly to get information.

● What's th address of the website?And what languages are used?

 

Finding your way to the Temple

● Did you say that you're going to stay at Jogyesa until today? (leave today?)Then where are you going to next?

● I want to visit Beomeosa Temple on bb mountain, but I don't know how to get there.

● It's easy to get there by train.  Take a KTX train from Seoul Station to Busan.

● What do I do when I get off the train at Busan station?

● You can take a taxi or subway going towards beomeosa Temple, but i'm not sure about the bus line.

Wake- up Time

● There is early morning ceremony at 3 am in the Dharma hall, so you should wake up at 2:40 am.

● do all monks and muns wake up at that time, too?

● Yes. They must wake up early to prepare for the morning ceremony.  The M

● Do all monks and nuns generally wake up as early as that?

● Yes, usually. The morning ceremony starts at 3 am in general, but some temples in the cities start at 4am or 5am.

● When do they go to bed?

● They go to bed between 9 and 10 pm.
